The alternator stator has been checked by us and is in perfect condition. Before ordering, please check your own vehicle as follows: Remove the alternator plug, check the 3 yellow cables among each other for resistance, nominal: 0.7 - 1.2 OHM, check against ground: no continuity. Then remove the alternator with cover, check the Lima rotor directly on the copper conductors: 4-5 OHM between them, no continuity to ground. If both are OK, it is usually the regulator/rectifier unit. However, the stator can also fail as a result of this defective unit. If there is no fall damage and the alternator is defective, damage to the regulator unit is likely.
